The video was about how to subtract using Tidy Numbers. The example given was 13 - 7.
13 - 3 = 10 (I make 10)
10 - 4 = 6
So 13 - 7 = 6.

The video showed me that I can use my multiplication knowledge to solve division problems.
The example was 50/5.
5 x __ = 50
5 x 10 = 50
So  50/5 = 10.

  1. Fractions show part of a whole.
  2. An example is 1 part of 6 is written as ⅙ (one sixth)
  3. The top number is called the numerator. The bottom number is called the denominator.
